The Tennessee Highway Safety Office will kick off the sixth year of the SAFE Campaign starting February 1, 2019. The SAFE Campaign is designed to increase seat belt use in Tennessee through awareness, enforcement, and activity.
The pre-survey needs to be completed before March 8, 2019. Nothing needs to be submitted, just the physical survey needs to be completed.
The deadline to submit campaign submissions is August 16, 2019.

- Submit a participation statement
- Attend at least 75% of network meetings in your region.
- Must have a seat belt policy for officers and employees.
- Seat belt enforcement must be a priority.
- Nighttime seat belt enforcement must be a priority.
- Submit a final report.
- Must participate in Click It or Ticket and submit stats.
- Must have one media event.
