This is an advanced course.
Students are required to make 80% on the final ex
am to receive a certificate of completion.
This course will train law enforcement off
icers to observe\, identify\, and articulate the s
igns of impairment related to drugs\, alcohol or a
combination of both in order to reduce the number
of impaired driving incidents\, serious injury\,
and fatal crashes.
This course will train o
ther criminal justice professionals (prosecutors\
, toxicologists\, etc.) to:
Understand the
signs of impairment related to drugs\, alcohol\,
or a combination of both.
Enable them to effect
ively work with law enforcement in order to reduce
the number of impaired driving incidents\, seriou
s injury\, and fatal crashes.
