 signed to provide basic information needed for cer
 tification by the Tennessee POST Commission as a L
 aw Enforcement Instructor.  The course will meet t
 he needs of the entry level or the experienced ins
 tructor in completion of the Instructor Developmen
 t requirements as established by the Peace Officer
  Standards and training Commission for instruction
  of the traffic / safety related topics.<br><br>St
 udents will learn the principles of writing perfor
 mance objectives and their importance and be taugh
 t the major components of a lesson plan\, as well 
 as the types of lesson plans and acceptable format
 s.<br><br>This class will provide the student with
  the basic knowledge of instructor techniques\, ch
 aracteristics\, traits and equipment to use as an 
 instructor.  The student will be taught the basic 
 knowledge of authentic assessment methods to use a
 s an instructor.<br><br>This course will provide t
 he student with the basic knowledge of Classroom M
 anagement techniques and further provide the stude
 nt with the basic knowledge of training liability 
 and copyright law to use as an instructor.</p></bo
