32-Hour CPST Certification Course

A 32-hour (instructor discretion) course taught through a combination of lectures and hands-on practice with child safety seats and vehicle belt systems.

This course will certify students as CPS Technicians.  It will provide them with the opportunity to apply basic technical skills and knowledge for correct installation and use of car seats, booster seats, and seat belts.  It will equip the student to educate caregivers:

  • In proper selection, installation, and use of car and booster seats and know when to move to seat belts once booster seats are outgrown.
  • So they can confidently install/reinstall car/booster seats.
  • Enable you to be a resource in your communities.
