Tennessee Highway Safety Office Joins Kyle W. Kiihnl Memorial Foundation for
“Don’t Drive Drowsy” Sign Dedication during Tennessee Drowsy Driving Awareness Month
MEMPHIS – On Thursday, November 7, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office will join the Kyle W. Kiihnl Memorial Foundation for a “Don’t Drive Drowsy” sign dedication at Germantown City Hall. During the event, Mayor Mike Palazzolo will dedicate eight “Don’t Drive Drowsy” signs in memory of Germantown-native Kyle W. Kiihnl who was struck and killed by a drowsy driver in 2002. On July 12, 2019, Governor Bill Lee proclaimed November as Drowsy Driving Awareness Month in Tennessee. Event details are listed below.
