TENNESSEE HIGHWAY SAFETY OFFICE JOINS MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING FOR ANNUAL “NIGHT OF REMEMBRANCE”
NASHVILLE – On Thursday, December 9, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office joins the Tennessee Highway Patrol and other traffic safety partners for the annual “Night of Remembrance” hosted by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The purpose of this event is to help keep everyone safe this holiday season by spreading awareness for the lives lost to drunk-driving crashes in Tennessee. According to Tennessee’s Integrated Traffic Analysis Network, one in three fatal crashes involved an impaired driver this year. Approximately 46 percent of the impaired drivers were ages 20 to 34.
