Tennessee Highway Safety Office Joins Mothers Against Drunk Driving
and Tennessee Highway Patrol to Promote Drunk-Driving Prevention Ahead of the Holidays

NASHVILLE – On Thursday, December 12, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) will join the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) for a press event to promote drunk-driving prevention ahead of the holidays. During the event, guest speaker Kathy Beeler will discuss the 2011 drunk-driving crash that killed her son, Cole, when he was 19 years old. This year-to-date, there have been 5,171 drunk-driving crashes in Tennessee. This time last year, there were 5,327 crashes. Event details are listed below.
